Dr D.Y Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai was established in 1989. The Medical College was originally affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS), but now is a part of the University. It was recently awarded an ISO 9001:2000 certification from the joint accreditation system of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ). Currently, the college provides facilities for M.B.B.S. and Post-Graduate studies.
