Maharashtra PG Medical Admission 2021: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra will conduct the admission process of Maharashtra PG medical and dental 2021 in the online mode. In order to apply for the PG medical/dental admission in Maharashtra, aspirants will be required to fill the Maharashtra PG medical application form 2021 within the given time. It is to be noted that candidates who will qualify NEET PG exam and fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the authority will only be eligible to apply for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2021. PG graduates must secure the minimum required cutoff percentile to pass NEET PG 2021. Maharashtra NEET PG 2021 - Eligibility Criteria

To be aware of the eligibility criteria set by the authority is extremely important for candidates who wish to apply for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2021. Interested aspirants can check the eligibility below.

  • Candidates should be citizens of India. A Nationality Certificate shall be issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan

  • Magistrate or valid Passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality

  • NRIs are not eligible for any other seat except for a maximum of 15% NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority medical colleges.

  • Candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra and have obtained admission under 15% All India Quota/AIIMS/Central Government Institutions for MBBS course in the medical college/institution situated outside Maharashtra State as well as those who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2021. However, such candidates are required to submit a certificate from the Dean of respective medical college and a certificate of Maharashtra State by virtue of residence.

  • Aspirants must have MBBS/BDS pass certificate from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI) only from the state of Maharashtra.

  • Candidates too should have a compulsory rotatory internship certificate on or before March 31, 2021.

  • A registration certificate issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) is also mandatory.

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

Maharashtra PG Medical Application Form 2021

The Maharashtra PG 2021 application form will be available in the online mode. Link for the same will be provided on this page when released. Only applicants who will submit the application form within the given time period will be eligible for 50% state quota seats. After the successful submission of Maharashtra PG medical application form 2021, the registered aspirants will have to report at the nodal centres for document verification. Only after the verification procedure, candidates will be considered eligible to be included in the merit list. At the time of document verification, candidates are required to carry all the documents mentioned below:

  • Copy of NEET PG admit card 2021

  • Any photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/Driving License/PAN card/Passport etc)

Maharashtra PG Medical Merit List 2021

The Maharashtra PG medical 2021 merit list will be released by the authority in the PDF format. A link will be made available to check the merit list on the page when released. Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2021 will be made on the grounds of NEET PG 2021 scores obtained by the aspirants and also based on the rank included in Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2021. The merit list will include the name of aspirants, All India rank, state merit rank, NEET PG scores and testing IDs. Candidates who will be included in the Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2021 will be called for the counselling process.

Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2021

The counselling session of Maharashtra PG medical 2021 will be conducted in a total of three rounds including a mop-up round in the end. In the counselling session, candidates will be required to fill courses and college in order of their preference. Based on the rank, preferences and availability of seats, the admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses will be granted.
