MRCP stands for Member of Royal College of Physicians and it is a core, medical, postgraduate degree that is awarded upon completion of three parts. Without having to write the PLAB exam the students can pursue an MRCP degree abroad. MRCP is a postgraduate qualification.

For medical specialization, the MRCP exam is a requirement.The MRCP exam consists of three parts.For graduates, an MRCP degree opens several pathways.There are two written papers and one clinical exam for the MRCP exam.For post-graduation students can choose the MRCP/MRCS pathway.

MRCP UK ELIGIBILITY IN INDIA

In the UK the MRCP exam contains two parts. The eligibility criteria for both exams is given below:

Part 1

At least 12 months for medical employment PG experience and you must have a GMC recognised Primary Medical Qualification.

Part 2 and PACES

For the Part 2 exam, you must have passed Part 1 within the last seven-year.
