Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Established in 1992, the university offers multiple undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various branches of engineering and technology. RGIT offers a total of five undergraduate programs and four postgraduate programs each academic year.
Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses must have completed senior secondary school and their selection based on qualifying examination merit. Candidate must have appeared and qualified “Common Entrance Test” (MHT-CET) for admission to the undergraduate programs. He/she must hold an undergraduate degree from a reputed university in order to register and fill in the application forms for the Master degree courses.

The RGIT offers four courses at the postgraduate level in diverse branches of engineering and technology, management studies and computer applications. It is mandatory for the candidate to hold a Bachelor’s degree as a prerequisite to be eligible for the admission procedure. - The entrance exam for post graduate program consists of 3 sections – Logic / Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

RGIT Application Process 2023
Candidates must check for the eligibility and ensure that they fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill up the application form.

- He/she must proceed and select "Click here for New Registration".
- He/she must fill in the details correctly and preview it to ensure that it does not carry any inappropriate details.
- The applicant must submit the form to the institution upon successfully filling in the details.
- He/she must upload a recent photograph
- The payment must be done online and it is non-refundable. Applicant must pay the fee by proceeding to the ‘Payment’ tab.
- He/she must provide personal details along with the academic details, professional experience, address and other relevant information
- After this, the form will be verified by the Competent Authority assigned in the student section.
- The provisional admission is offered to candidates once they submit all the required original documents.
